How to turn a mix into a session

One upload, one project file. Separation, transcription and arrangement happen in one pass, and what lands is something you open in your DAW and start working in, not a folder you have to assemble first.

  1. Add your mix: Drop a WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A, FLAC or OGG: the stereo bounce is enough.
  2. It is rebuilt as a project: The mix is separated into stems, each part is transcribed, and the tempo map, meter and chords are detected and laid out as tracks.
  3. Open it in your DAW: A native Logic or Ableton project, and the project converter carries that on to FL Studio, REAPER or Pro Tools.

How long does it take?

  • What is in the project

    Each separated source arrives on its own named track, in time with the original. Alongside the audio, each part comes through as MIDI, so you can replace a sound rather than being stuck with the recording. A chord track sits underneath as a harmonic guide, and the tempo map is the one the performance was actually played at.

  • Logic and Ableton natively, and from there any DAW

    The output is a native project for whichever DAW you use: a Logic project or an Ableton Live Set, written directly rather than exported through an interchange format that loses half the arrangement. The same machinery drives the DAW converter.
