Score an advertisement with original music
Published November 2026
Need an original soundtrack for a commercial, campaign film or product video? Upload the cut to Doseedo. Its AI composer reads the picture, writes music to the edit, places cues at their timecodes, dips music under dialogue and returns the scored video, printmaster, editable part stems and a Logic Pro or Ableton Live project.
Scored this way
Scored through the studio, nothing touched by hand. The whole reel.
Artemis I launch (2022). One trailer cue in D minor: a rim-tick clock on the pad, a brass braam on the ignition frame, a 3+3+2 ostinato through the climb and a full slam on the cut to the black sky. How it was scored · Score this film yourself
Picture: NASA/Walter Lindblom (NASA does not endorse Doseedo), Public domain. Its original soundtrack removed; the score is new, by Doseedo.
Wing It! (2023). A bouncy F-major cartoon score on clarinet, bassoon oom-pah, ukulele and pizzicato: a xylophone plink on every button, a soaring B-flat glide when the wings open, and one long chromatic fall into the crash. How it was scored · Score this film yourself

A score made for the cut
Short ads leave little room for a cue that starts late or builds after the message is over. Doseedo spots the video frame by frame, proposes cues and hit points, then writes music to those timings. Choose a sound such as orchestral, action, drama or comedy, and add a direction for the brand tone, product reveal or final logo. The score is composed for the supplied edit rather than selected from a stock library.
From upload to delivery
- Upload the commercial or campaign film in MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM or MKV format, up to 2 GB.
- Choose a musical direction and describe what the score should emphasize.
- Let the composer place cues around the cuts and important moments, then review the scored version.
- Give a note on a cue if it needs a change. Download the finished video, printmaster, M&E and separate stems.
Dialogue, voiceover and delivery
Music is mixed beneath speech so the voiceover remains clear. If the supplied ad already has temp music, Doseedo can separate dialogue, music and effects before replacing or reworking the music. The printmaster is delivered as a 24-bit, 48 kHz WAV at a selected web, streaming or broadcast loudness, with the scored video and editable stems.
Editable music after the first pass
The handoff includes the full mix and each written instrument part as its own stem, with the notes as MIDI in a Logic Pro or Ableton Live project. That gives an editor or composer room to change levels, mute or replace parts and continue arranging after the score has been placed on the commercial. For an assistant-led workflow, connect the Doseedo film-scoring MCP server; the same spotting, rendering, mixing and delivery tools are available to an MCP-compatible agent.
What it costs
Watching the film, mixing and delivery are free. The performances use credits, like any render on Doseedo: 10 credits for every 30 seconds of music for each group of up to six parts, and a flat 20 to split the film's own soundtrack. A one-minute scene with a mid-size orchestra is usually 60 to 140 credits; the panel shows the estimate for your film before you start, beside what you have left.
A free account comes with 120 credits a month. Pro is $12 a month with 2,000. You own what you make, to the extent the law allows (Terms §6.3).
Sound and practical limits
- Instrumental only. No songs, no vocals.
- Instrument models, not a session orchestra. They are trained on real recordings and each part is checked against its notes, but a live orchestra on a scoring stage is a different thing, and a picky ear will hear it on exposed solos.
- It sees the picture, not the plot. The composer reads the keyframes to decide what a scene is about; your direction and the hits you mark are what tell it what matters.
- Long films are scored in up to eight cues per pass, the ones the picture needs most. Ask for more afterwards.
- Splitting a busy soundtrack is not perfect. When the old music is replaced, some of its percussion can stay in the effects, about 10 dB down.
Score an ad with AI
An AI music generator for ads, AI music for commercials, a soundtrack for a video ad, music for a brand film and scoring a commercial all name the same job when the music has to fit this edit: build to the product, stay under the voiceover and land on the end card. Upload the spot and the score is written to it.

Can Doseedo score an advertisement automatically?
Yes. Upload the commercial, choose a sound and give optional direction. Doseedo analyzes the cut, writes original instrumental music to it, mixes under speech and returns the scored video with stems.
Can I use it for a 15 or 30 second ad?
The studio takes a cut of any length up to 2 GB. Music is priced by its length, 10 credits per 30 seconds for each group of up to six parts, so a 30-second spot costs about half what a one-minute scene does, and the estimate is shown before anything is played.
Can the music hit the logo reveal or product shot?
The composer proposes hit points from the picture, and you can direct it toward a logo reveal, product shot, cut or other moment that matters.
Will the voiceover stay clear?
The score is mixed lower under dialogue. If the original video has music, its soundtrack can be split into dialogue, music and effects before the music is replaced.
Can I use the score in a client advertisement?
Doseedo says you own what you create to the extent the law allows under Terms §6.3. Review the current Terms for the rights that apply to your project.
Does it create vocals or a sung brand jingle?
No. The film-scoring workflow creates instrumental music, not songs or vocals.
