Doseedo vs Suno
Published November 2026 · Updated November 5, 2026
Doseedo is an AI film scorer in your browser: upload your film and an AI composer watches the cut, then writes, plays and mixes an original score that lands on the cuts. Every part is its own native stem with its MIDI, so one part, one bar or one cue can be changed without regenerating the rest. Suno is a song generator, with vocals, a Studio of per-track parts and, since November 4, 2026, MIDI in. Both are compared here from their own pages, checked November 5, 2026, with a source for every line.

The difference
Suno writes songs, and the best of them sound finished; a video is only a reference for the vibe, so the edit has to be cut to the song. Doseedo works the other way round: it watches the cut and writes an instrumental score to it, hit by hit, every part its own stem with its notes, delivered on the film with an M&E and a DAW session. Use Suno for a song; use Doseedo when the music has to follow the picture.

Where Suno is the better choice
Polished vocal songs and the broadest consumer toolset, with an MCP connector on every plan. Choose it when you need a song with vocals for a video, and the edit will be cut to the song.
Where Doseedo is
- The music has to follow this cut. Every cut is found to the frame and the hits land on downbeats; frames you mark become downbeats.
- You will give notes. Every part is its own stem with its notes, so "the horns in bar 12" re-plays only those bars of that part.
- Someone will finish it in a DAW. The whole score opens in Logic Pro, Ableton Live or REAPER, every part a track with its audio and MIDI. See the session.
- It has to be delivered. The scored film, a printmaster, an M&E and a cue sheet, at broadcast, streaming or web loudness.
- You want to own it from the free plan. Your first film score is free with a verified email, and you own what you make on every plan (Terms §6.3).
What it costs
Your first film score is free. A free account with a verified email gets a one-time 300 credits for its first score, on top of the 120 a month, and the composer plans that score to fit them, so a long film is scored where it matters most.
After that, watching the film, mixing and delivery stay free. The performances use credits, like any render on Doseedo: 10 credits for every 30 seconds of music for each group of up to six parts, and a flat 20 to split the film's own soundtrack. A one-minute scene with a mid-size orchestra is usually 60 to 140 credits; the panel shows the estimate for your film before you start, beside what you have left.
A free account comes with 120 credits a month. Pro is $12 a month with 2,000. You own what you make, to the extent the law allows (Terms §6.3).
