AI song generator for Logic Pro
Published October 2026
Logic Pro is good at helping with a song you have started: Drummer and the Session Players play along with it (the Session Players follow its chord track), and Stem Splitter pulls apart a recording you already have. What it does not do is start the song from a sentence. Doseedo does that part and hands Logic the result as a native .logicx project: every part on its own audio track, the same part beside it as a MIDI track, the tempo and time signature set, ready to play when you open it.
From a sentence to an open project
- Open the studio and the chat beside the timeline ("ask me about your session").
- Ask for the song in plain words, with a genre and, if you like, a length, a key, a tempo and the band: "make a 2-minute country song in G at 96 bpm", "a lo-fi hip hop track with Rhodes and upright bass", "a romantic string quartet piece". Without a length you get about two minutes.
- The song engine writes the whole arrangement in one pass (form, chords, and every part across the form), and each part lands on its own track as MIDI and is played by an instrument model, at full length. A song is sung unless you ask for an instrumental: the engine writes the melody and the chat writes one lyric line per phrase.
- Change a part by asking, right after it lands: "busier", "simpler", "swing it", "an octave lower", "make the drums 16ths". Or edit the notes yourself.
- Export from the Export / Share panel as a Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio or REAPER project.
The studio opens without an account. The chat and the renders need a free one: type your request signed out and it is kept, and it sends itself once you have signed in.
Choose Logic Pro in the export panel. The download is a .zip because a Logic project is a folder on disk. Unpack it and double-click the .logicx.
What is inside the .logicx
This is the Logic project from the 45-second country song on the overview page, opened up on disk:
Country song from a prompt.logicx/
Alternatives/000/ProjectData the arrangement: 8 tracks, 110 bpm, 4/4
Alternatives/000/MetaData.plist
Resources/ProjectInformation.plist
Media/Audio Files/Drums_0.wav 45.6 s, 44.1 kHz
Media/Audio Files/Bass_1.wav
Media/Audio Files/Rhythm_Guitar_2.wav
Media/Audio Files/Lead_Guitar_3.wav
The audio lives inside the project, so nothing opens offline and nothing needs relinking. The four audio tracks start at bar 1. Beside each one sits a software-instrument track holding that part's MIDI: 321 drum notes on General MIDI drum pitches, 41 bass notes, 240 guitar notes for the strummed chords and 44 for the lead line. Mute the audio and put your own Alchemy patch, Drummer kit or sampler on the MIDI, and the song plays on your sounds instead.
The project's sample rate matches the audio files. That matters in Logic, which plays a region's samples at the project's rate: a 44.1 kHz file in a 48 kHz project plays nine per cent fast and about a semitone and a half sharp. The builder writes the rate into the project's binary as well as into its metadata, because Logic rebuilds the metadata from the binary when the project opens.
From an AI agent, straight into the open project
The same result is one conversation away in any AI client that speaks MCP (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Codex). Connect https://api.doseedo.com/mcp and ask for the song. The agent follows the server's own compose-piece recipe: it writes every part as notes, doseedo_render_score plays them (one stem per part, each with a receipt saying whether it played the written notes), doseedo_mix mixes them, and doseedo_session_from_stems returns the Logic or Ableton project with every part as audio and MIDI, at the mix's levels and pans. The agent does the composing, so the key, the tempo and the form are exactly what it wrote.
With Dø Desktop running on the Mac that holds the project, an agent can also work on a Logic project you already have open. It adds a part on a new track or replaces a take, and Dø Desktop saves the project, closes it, writes the edit in and reopens it, in about 10 to 20 seconds. The Logic Pro MCP guide covers that side.
Logic’s own tools, after the fact
Once the project is open, everything in Logic applies as usual. Flex Pitch and Flex Time work on the audio tracks. Logic's Stem Splitter is not needed, because the parts already arrived apart. Smart Tempo has nothing to fix, because the project tempo is the tempo the parts were written at. If you prefer Logic's own instruments, the MIDI tracks are the quickest way in, and Drummer can take over from the drum track if you want it to follow your edits.
For a song that already exists (a Suno track, a demo, a bounce from someone else's session), use the Suno to Logic route instead. It separates the mix and transcribes each stem into the same kind of project.

Is there an AI that makes a song in Logic Pro?
Doseedo writes and renders the song outside Logic and exports it as a native .logicx project, with every part as an audio track and a MIDI track at the song’s tempo. You open the project in Logic like any other.
Does Logic Pro have an AI song generator built in?
Logic’s Drummer and Session Players play parts for a song you have started (the Session Players follow its chord track), and Stem Splitter separates an existing recording. None of them writes a whole song from a description, which is the step Doseedo adds.
Is there a Suno plugin for Logic Pro?
Not from Doseedo. To work on a Suno song in Logic, upload the Suno file and get back a Logic project with separated stems, MIDI for each part and the tempo map, as described in the Suno to Logic Pro guide.
Why is the download a .zip?
A .logicx project is a folder on disk (a package), with the audio stored inside it. The zip carries that folder in one file: unpack it and double-click the .logicx.
Can I replace the generated sounds with my own instruments?
Yes. Every part also arrives as MIDI on its own track, so you can mute the audio track and play the MIDI through any Logic instrument or third-party plug-in.
